What is this seminar about?
In an interactive format, Prof. Van de Loo will explore answers to questions such as: How can we thrive and feel engaged in a world of work increasingly reigned by characteristics like speed, volatility, flexibility and virtuality? How can we create essential and elementary levels of stability, in order to be able to thrive on the waves of change?
How do we balance this with the human needs of wanting to feel acknowledged, appreciated, coached, supported in a networked world of work? How does this challenge traditional ways of understanding the role of leadership? And: how can we create sufficient and continuous reflective space in organisations?
Erik van de Loo is Professor of Leadership and Behaviour at Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, adjunct-professor at INSEAD, and lecturer at NSOB and TiasNimbas. His main interests are leadership, entrepreneurship, family enterprises, team building and systemic work. Through his company Phyleon, he advises and coaches management teams in Fortune 500 corporations.
