Our current economic model does not withstand the challenges we are facing today. But how to move towards new ideas and practices and create a shift of paradigm? This is the burning question of our generation. Faced with this challenge we, the graduates of the Leaders for Economic Change programme, invite you to participate in the Economic Exchange Conference. A full-day conference with a strong focus on how to move towards economic change and the role of leadership herein. You will be able to participate in interactive workshops, lectures and interesting debates between current and future leaders.

The Economic Exchange Conference is the final assignment for the participants of the Leaders for Economic Change programme that was kicked off on November, 25 2011. Thirty students and Young Professionals of different cultural and professional backgrounds were brought together by the ambitious intention to make an impact on our future. They have worked alongside today’s innovators to co-create their ideas into visions on the economic model in 2030. During the conference all six groups will present extraordinary visions and a winning group will be selected. To provide a clear example of how to make the future a reality, the participants will also share an action plan. As an attendant you can play an important role in shaping the future by helping to finalise this action plan.

Leading change advocates and contributors to the event are: Paul Gilding (Australia), Marjan Minnesma (Leads the Sustainable Top 100 index), Prof. Herman Wijffels, Sarah Denie (Schumacher College UK), Thecla Bodewes (Businesswoman 2011), Rens van Tilburg (Senior researcher SOMO), Jeremy Wickremer (University for Peace, UN), and many more. The co-creation of the action plan will be facilitated by the 1%CLUB. The day will be facilitated by Max Christern (MOC Media).

Partners of the day are ABN Amro and the 1%CLUB. Visitors will get a goody bag with examples of the new economy.

Learn, think, get inspired, contribute, co-create! Your future is in your hands!
