Our events are distinctive and highly recognisable through a number of characteristics i.e. they are accelerated, innovative, dynamic and stimulating. As a visitor you will be invited to take an active part in our constantly updated and changing programme of events. From readings and debates, to appearances of musicians, DJs, theatre and dance groups. There are regular monthly programmes such as “The Philosophy of the Zuidas” and “The Socrates Dinner”. There are also opportunities for one-off events including concerts given by the VU Orchestra on Gustav Mahlerplein, the Street Soccer Tournament which was organised in conjunction with the Meaning of Zuidas and the TANS Sugar Lounge which took place at the end of Ramadan.
Bringing People Together
The aim of Amsterdam Bright City’s events is to join expats, students, scientists, artists and creative people together with the residents and professionals living and working in the Zuidas. The initiative for the Zuidas Programme was developed in association with the local people and organisations. Our Founding Partners also play a leading role.
